Angelo G. Calbone

President and Chief Executive Officer


Angelo Calbone headshotMr. Calbone has been President and CEO of Saratoga Hospital and its affiliates since 2006. His tenure has been marked by strong growth and increased emphasis on collaboration and innovative, cost-effective approaches to meeting the Saratoga region's changing healthcare needs.

Under Mr. Calbone's leadership, Saratoga Hospital has added services, facilities, and staff and increased annual revenues, net worth, and financial assistance for those in need. In 2013, in partnership with Albany Medical Center, Saratoga Hospital opened Malta Med Emergent Care, a 24/7 facility located off Northway Exit 12. Other accomplishments include the establishment of the Saratoga Hospital Medical Group, a Saratoga Hospital multispecialty practice; the opening of the new Emergency Department; the opening of the Marylou Whitney and Desmond DelGiacco, MD Intensive Care Unit; the opening of ten new state-of-the-art surgical suites, with separate areas for pre- and post-operative patients.  Most recently, Mr. Calbone led the hospital through its affiliation with Albany Medical Center, which was finalized on January 1, 2017.

Before joining Saratoga Hospital, Mr. Calbone was president and CEO of Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center in Lewiston/Niagara Falls, New York, and CEO of the Health System of Niagara. He has a Bachelor of Science from West Liberty State College in West Virginia and a master's in Health Services Administration from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Calbone serves on the board of the Saratoga County Economic Development Corp. and is a former board chair and member of the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce and Shelters of Saratoga. He also is a past chair and executive team member of the North Country Heart Walk.

Jeffrey Methven, MBA

Executive Vice President


Jeffrey MethvenMr. Methven joined Saratoga Hospital in 2006 as vice president of human resources and, since then, has assumed responsibility for the hospital's outpatient network of over 20 locations. He also was instrumental in growing the multidisciplinary Saratoga Hospital Medical Group, which has more than 250 providers in over 30 specialties.

As executive vice president, Mr. Methven continues to be responsible for the operations of the medical group and many Saratoga Hospital outpatient sites. Additionally, and in collaboration with other members of the hospital's leadership team, he oversees much of the organization's daily operations.

Mr. Methven has an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Rochester and a Bachelor of Science in industrial relations from Le Moyne College in Syracuse.

He is a professional member of the Society for Human Resources Management, as well as a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Mr. Methven serves on the boards of the Saratoga County Economic Opportunity Council and Saratoga Regional YMCA and is a volunteer coach with the Old Saratoga Athletic Association.

Toni Bishop-McWain, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, CNRN, CCRN

Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer


Toni Bishop-McWainDr. Bishop-McWain has more than 25 years of nursing administration experience. Before joining Saratoga Hospital, she was vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, a large, integrated health system in Illinois. She also has held nursing leadership roles in critical care, cardiopulmonary services, and cardiovascular services. Earlier in her career, Dr. Bishop-McWain worked in the intensive care unit of Glens Falls Hospital.

She began her nursing education at Adirondack Community College, went on to earn bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut, and has a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from OSF Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing. She also holds Nurse Executive Advanced Certification (NEA-BC) from the American Nurse Credentialing Center, certification in critical-care nursing (CCRN) from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, and Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) certification from the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses.

Dr. Bishop-McWain is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, American Nurses Association, American Organization of Nurse Leaders, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Marcy Dreimiller, MBA

Vice President, Human Resources


Marcy Dreimiller headshotMs. Dreimiller has nearly three decades of leadership experience in human resources. She came to Saratoga Hospital in 2009 as director of human resources and was named associate vice president of human resources in 2017. Previously, she was the vice president of human resources at Glens Falls Hospital for 17 years.

A graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, Ms. Dreimiller has a Master of Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She also holds the most advanced human resources credential, Senior Professional in Human Resources.

Ms. Dreimiller has served as president of Shelters of Saratoga and the Warren-Washington-Saratoga Employee Assistance Program and as chairperson of the Saratoga-Warren-Washington Workforce Investment Board. In addition, she has served as secretary of the Adirondack Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the Adirondack Business to School Partnership, Saratoga County Community Services Board, and the Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Center.

Richard Falivena, DO, MPH

Vice President, Chief Medical and Physician Integration Officer


Richard Falivena headshotDr. Falivena has extensive administrative and medical practice experience. His professional areas of interest are the development of effective physician performance feedback and aligning patient safety initiatives with physician incentives.

He joined us in 2013 from Cape Regional Medical Center in Cape May Court House, New Jersey, where he served as vice president of medical affairs and president of Cape Regional Physicians Associates. His medical career includes 15 years as a general surgeon on Long Island. For the last five of those years, Dr. Falivena served as chairman of the Department of Surgery at Massapequa General Hospital. He also has served as chief medical officer of Brunswick Medical Center in Amityville, New York.

Dr. Falivena has a bachelor's degree from Alfred University in New York, a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Iowa, and a Master of Public Health in Healthcare Administration from the Mailman School of Public Health of Columbia University in New York. He is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons.

Gary Foster, CPA

Vice President, Chief Financial Officer


Gary Foster headshotMr. Foster has been with the organization since 1994. Prior to joining Saratoga Hospital, he held positions at  Columbia Greene Medical Center in Hudson, New York, and KPMG in Albany, New York.

Mr. Foster has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the State University of New York at Albany. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Foster has also been a board member of Living Resources Corporation since July 2012.

John Mangona, MBA

Vice President, Chief Information and Compliance Officer


Mr. Mangona has been with Saratoga Hospital since 1995. Mr. Mangona earned a Master of Business Administration in information systems from Union Graduate College in Schenectady, New York. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in aviation management from from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida.

He is certified in healthcare compliance and involved in Leadership Saratoga, the Medical Users Software Exchange, Health Information Exchange of New York, and Health Care Compliance Association. Mr. Mangona also served nine years as a board member of the Saratoga Regional YMCA. He is a member of the Saratoga Springs Smart-City Commission. In 2017, Mr. Mangona was recognized as one of the top 100 Community Hospital CIOs to know by Becker's Healthcare.
