i thought he looked pretty far out with his pilus and tatoos and stuff. and i retrieve many people using his name as a joke or insult.
However this past week i listened to tons of new modernistic rap albums. saw many recommendation videos on youtube. Lil wayne's carter 3 album kept showing up and so i decided to listen to it....and.. i accept to admit i actually liked it. and so i burned a cd and listened to it on my stereo to make sure and once more i idea it was actually interesting and cool. i then listened to some of his other albums and realized thats the merely i i actually liked. then i bought the vinyl which hasnt arrived.

i have to say, he was really cool and artistic on that album. so i dont really recall he is a joke anymore.

Today I stopped off at the local tape store while going out to pick up a dinner club from the sushi place a few doors down from information technology, and I picked up the following:
New in shrink-wrap:
- Funkadelic, Standing on the Verge of Getting It On. Westbound SEWA 040, fabricated in England. Straight metal mastered from a digital transfer of the original analog tapes. Nice pressing, though I had to clean it before playing subsequently awfully dropping it on the rug. It's been many years since I did that.
Used:
- Gordon Lightfoot, Old Dan's Records. Reprise MS 2116 (1972). Good tape.
- Bette Midler, The Rose (The Original Soundtrack Recording). Atlantic SD 16010 (1979). Unfortunately, I failed to notice the "CRC" on the back embrace -- it'southward a record gild pressing. Haven't listened to it even so, but it can't possibly sound worse than the target CD I too have.
- Jo Stafford, Jo's Greatest Hits. Columbia CL 1228 (1958). Cerise six-center label. This one has a couple of low-cal scratches (and was priced accordingly) but is still quite listenable. Aside from a couple of silly novelty tunes, it's quite overnice, and her version of "Stardust" is heavenly.
